Hi. Cassius (he/him) again, hope I don’t sound like I’m mini-modding and if this is the wrong category LMK, but there’s something I wanna mention:
It luckily hasn’t been a big problem on here (at least not that I’ve noticed), but for us long strains of unspaced text (stuff like long keyboard spams, a bunch of special characters in a row, or not putting spaces between words to emphasize a rush) can be a little bit anxiety inducing. They’re overwhelming, difficult to read/look at and just bring us back a little bit to unpleasant times.
Would it be okay if, moving forward, sensory warnings were used for that as well? We’re fine if not, but it’s nice to have a little bit of warning before having to see it.
Wait- I don’t really understand a lot of what the triggering text is just by the example- I’d be fine with doing that do you mean just putting a lot of text without spacing it/a sentence with no spaces? Would putting a dash or space help it or is it still the same? /lh/genq
^ Yeah, basically. Just a lot of text without spaces - I can add an example if that helps. Putting dashes or spaces between the text would help as well.
I understand now! To clarify this doesnt apply to long words right? And is it in any use or specifically long uses like only a few letters of keyboard smashing is fine or is it all triggering?
Nope! not long words or a few letters, only if it’s like a line or something.
I just added the keyboard smash sw to this post (in addition to the caps one that was already there)

You hear that feeble humans (+assorted others), add your warnings so I don’t have to.
Okay! I only did that on that one post bc i needed to move my hands and i couldn’t stop typing
I finished my English final so now you’re the only Cassius I have to worry about. (We did a unit on Julius Caesar)
I have a proposal that you guys may or may not like
Maybe users who have been active for several consecutive months should be given mod perms so we can have people active at all times
Like time zone based mods
I do really think that we need more trustworthy users able to edit others posts
No. Then we would have too many mods and not all users would be interested in that. I feel like we would only need 1 or 2 more at the most. /nm
^^good in theory seems too choatic though and yeah mods are a problem

Heh heh. Well, you guys will be stuck with me for a while (I anticipate). We’re actually trying to figure out if anyone else from my source showed up in back system when I split, so there might be a Caesar running around too, who knows.
@BoHere Can you tell me when they open up if it’s not an announcement?
Also what do we want to call this SW?
Unspaced text or long lines of text?
