Theres a classroom in my school named after alan turing
And i went to the harvey milk museum in san francisco a few years ago

Alan Turing: computer scientist from the UK, condemned by the homophobic laws of his time.

Real quote from his wikipedia page: “Turing was prosecuted in 1952 for homosexual acts. He accepted hormone treatment with DES,” he did it " as an alternative to prison."
This was literally London in 1952. they arrested a person for gross indecency.. for being gay. (didn’t make “DES” a link because they basically just made him take hormones, and i didn’t want people to click on it without knowing because it could make people uncomfortable idk.)
