Someone who does theater stuff, I do tech theater extracurriculars for shows, other people are in theater classes, etc

I was in my high school’s Thespian Troupe, both as an actor, and a stage manager or sound person. Also ran sound for a local theatre’s production of Singing in the Rain for a summer.
Kinda? I love being performative when it comes to school presentations. Staring at the viewer while talking roboticly like a Wikipedia article? Boring! I’d rather be in a silly costume and make goofy face expressions to make my yap session more fun!
My tendency to spontaneously perform or quote lyrics in everyday social situations is a bit higher than average, although my friends and family surpass me. Honestly, I love being in theater but, only if I get to play as a minor or mute character. I don’t really like scripts, okay?
So yeah, I guess I’m a theatre kid, but only a little bit. If I chose a more accurate descriptor, it would be geek, or nerd, if we talk about my former self.

I’ve been attending a drama club for 10+ years at this point and we’ve started practice on our yearly show which is unfortunately and most likely going to be my last for now
